Management of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) perioperatively is challenging, especially in patients with recent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Intravenous antiplatelet agents are suggested in this scenario. In this case series, we describe the perioperative management of two high bleeding risk patients with a recent PCI undergoing cardiac and non-cardiac surgery, using cangrelor monotherapy.
