Archives of the Turkish Society of Cardiology (Turk Kardiyol Dern Ars) is a scientific, open access periodical of the Turkish Society of Cardiology. The journal is published in accordance with independent, unbiased, and double-blinded peer-review principles. The journal publishes eight issues per year in January, March, April, June, July, September, October, and December. The publication language of the journal is English and Turkish.
Archives of the Turkish Society of Cardiology aims to contribute to the literature by publishing manuscripts at the highest scientific level on a wide range of topics including cardiac and cardiovascular diseases. The journal publishes original clinical and experimental research articles, case reports, reviews and interesting images pertinent to cardiovascular diseases, as well as editorial comments, letters to the editor, news, guidelines, and abstracts presented at national cardiology meetings.
The scope of the journal includes but not limited to coronary artery disease, valve diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure, hypertension, congenital heart diseases, cardiovascular surgery, basic science and imaging techniques.
The target audience of the journal includes specialists, researchers and professionals who are working and interested in the field of cardiology.
Archives of the Turkish Society of Cardiology is currently indexed in Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index, PubMed Medline, Europe PMC, Scopus, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EMBASE, EBSCO, CNKI and TUBITAK ULAKBIM TR Index.
The editorial and publication processes of the journal are shaped in accordance with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal is in conformity with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (doaj.org/bestpractice).
The expenses of the journal are covered by the Turkish Society of Cardiology. Processing and publication are free of charge with the journal. No fees are requested from the authors at any point throughout the evaluation and publication process. All manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system, which is available at www.archivestsc.com. Archives of the Turkish Society of Cardiology can publish advertisement images in the journal’s website upon the approval of the Editor in Chief. Potential advertisers should contact the Editorial Office. Advertisers have no effect on the editorial decisions or advertising policies. To avoid implied endorsement by the Journal, the article, or the authors of the article; advertisements are not adjacent to articles addressing the product or its disease state.
