Safety of magnetic resonance imaging in patients with implanted cardiovascular devices

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is one of the most advanced diagnostic methods of radiologic imaging. In patients with implanted cardiovascular devices, there can be device malfunction and deterioration in the quality of diagnostic data as a result of MRI-related interferences. This article aimed to review MRI safety in patients with implanted cardiovascular devices.
