A 78-year-old woman with a history of surgical removal of left atrial myxoma, was admitted to the hospital because of seizures. A left atrial mass was hospital because of seizures. A left atrial mass was dignosed in her by transesophageal echocardiography. Surgical removal and histologic examination of this mass confirmed a "recurrent" myxoma in this patient, presumably cerebral embolism.
