The percutaneous left atrial appendage (LAA) occlusion is an alternative therapeutic option for stroke prevention in patients with AF and contra-indications for oral anticoagulation. However, there was a little data regarding the technical success of percutaneous LAA closure in patients with previous atrial septal defect (ASD) or patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure device. Thus, we aimed to present a patient with previous history of percutaneous ASD closure in whom a successful LAA closure with Amplatzer™ Amulet™ occluder device (St. Jude Medical) has been performed.
